Purebred Jersey Heifer in Arcadia, Oregon For Sale

I have made the decision to sell "Lucy" She wasn't quite big enough when I had access to a bull a couple months ago and I don't have access to one now. AI is an option but, I am not diligent enough to notice her in standing heat, nor do I have facilities for safe breeding. I will have 3 cows to milk next year plus my goats and that is plenty. Her mother Ditsy, is on the line at the dairy I milk at and is giving around 64 pound daily (8 gallons) as a second freshener. Lucy is my cow, Dingy's granddaughter. Dingy peaks at 80 pounds (10 gallons) I raised Lucy from 1 day old.She has been bangs vaccinated and is good to go. She is friendly and calm. She should make a great family milk cow (plenty of milk for the family, raise some pigs and calves too!), ranch nurse cow (put up to 4 orphan calves on her) or replacement heifer as a dairy cow. She was born May of xxxx so is 17 months old. She is cycling regularly in fact she is in heat today! Asking $xxxx. Will consider trades for building material, gentle Corriente Bull, fence material, tractor implements suitable for a Ford 8n, etc. What have you got? Sorry, no horses. Local Treasure Valley transportation for cost of fuel (diesel truck, 12 mpg) + $20 for my time.
